About Plaza del Mar

Plaza del Mar is an oceanfront community divided into four sections. The north section is the Club Section (recently changed to “Hacienda Plaza del Mar”) which has about 80 condos and homes. Following are the Arcos section, the Pyramid section, and finally the newest section, Playas, or the Beach section.

All four sections of Plaza del Mar have 24-hour security and a variety of amenities which are managed on site by the individual Home Owners Associations of each section.

The natural amenities include outstanding mesa-top views and ocean views and a very quiet environment. Plaza del Mar is possibly the quietest of all oceanfront communities.

Other amenities include paved stone streets, an oceanfront walkway, stairs to the ocean, and grassy, well-gardened recreational areas with swimming pools, jacuzzis, and picnic tables. With all of the open spaces, Plaza del Mar is excellent for pets as well.

Plaza del Mar is located just North of La Fonda and La Mision Beach.
