• On the north side of the community are stairs that go down to a small sandy cove. You can scramble over the rocks on a lower tide to see the tide pools. You can continue by foot to another sandy beach popular with kids on bodyboards and families.

Calafia location:

• Calafia is located about 4 minutes south of the border. You will love the new elevated highway and tunnel that make give the Rosarito area much faster and easier to reach.

• Just down the street are plenty of places to eat, including fine dining, buffets, music on the weekends, and an awesome taco selection, 2 miles south at Km 38. Km38 is also famous for its surfing.
• There are supermarkets in Rosarito and in Puerto Nuevo.
• Oceanfront golf is 20 minutes south at Bajamar.
• The wine region, the Guadalupe Valley is 45 minutes south with plenty of vineyards, tasting, and awesome restaurants in natural settings.
• Hike the nearby mountain. Surf at Km 38.
