Oceanfront Amenities in Rosarito Baja
Two oceanfront heated swimming pools
Club Marena features two heated oceanfront swimming pools, each offering a different experience within the community.
The newer pool is located at the point, where residents can watch the surf breaking directly in front while enjoying panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean surrounding the property.
The second pool is located inside the protected bay area of the community. This pool is especially popular with families and children and is also open to vacation renters staying within the development.
Two oceanfront jacuzzis
In addition to the swimming pools, Club Marena offers two oceanfront jacuzzis. One is located at the point, providing dramatic views and the feeling of being almost directly above the ocean. The second jacuzzi is located in the bay area near the family pool, offering a quieter space to relax while still enjoying the oceanfront setting.
Tennis courts and pickleball nets
Club Marena includes two fully enclosed hard tennis courts. One court is dedicated exclusively to tennis, while the second court is also used for pickleball with temporary lines and movable nets.
The courts are protected from wind and highway noise, creating a comfortable environment for play.
Informal pickleball open play happens frequently, with a friendly mix of full-time residents and short-term guests enjoying the sport and the mild Baja coastal climate.
The first pet park in Baja
Club Marena was one of the first residential communities in the region to include a dedicated pet park. The park is fully enclosed, grassy, and large enough for pets to run and exercise safely. The pet park is available for Club Marena residents and is technically part of the common areas belonging to the Sea Houz condominium regime. Because of the way the development was originally designed, Club Marena and Sea Houz share certain amenities and services within the same coastal property.
Oceanfront Gym
The oceanfront fitness center is located inside the South Club House. The gym includes a universal weight machine, treadmill, stationary bike, free weights, and additional exercise equipment. Some residents arrange for local personal trainers to come to Club Marena several times per week to provide private training sessions, creating a flexible and community-oriented fitness environment.
Sandy beach
Club Marena sits directly above a sandy beach with access for boats, kayaks, surfboards, and other water sports equipment.
During low tide, residents can explore tide pools or walk south toward additional sandy beach areas along the coastline. During high tide the water may reach the base of the cliff, so it is always recommended to check the tide chart before heading down to the beach.
Direct walking access to the K38 surf break
One of Club Marena’s most unique natural amenities is its direct walking access to the famous K38 surf break.
K38 has been one of the most recognized surf points in northern Baja California for decades.
The wave works well for both longboards and shortboards and is also approachable enough for many surfers learning the sport.
For residents who enjoy surfing or simply watching the waves, this location is one of the highlights of living at Club Marena.
Two Club Houses
The North Club House has recently been remodeled and now offers a refreshed and more flexible gathering space for residents. The interior includes a work desk area for those who want to bring their laptop and work with an ocean view, a modern lounge area suitable for small meetings, and an open space with a large table for gatherings. The bar area remains in place, along with the striking trompe l’oeil mural inspired by the ancient Baja cave paintings. The outdoor terrace above continues to offer oceanfront patio seating, an outdoor bar, and a built-in barbecue area overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The South Club House, located toward the older section of Club Marena, includes pool tables, a barbecue area, tables, and seating areas. This space is ideal for smaller gatherings, casual meetings, and community events.
Purified Drinking Water
Each building at Club Marena includes its own reverse-osmosis water filtration system. This purified water is delivered directly to each residence’s kitchen sink and refrigerator for ice making, providing residents with high-quality drinking water throughout the community
High speed internet.
High-speed internet service is available throughout the development through several providers, including Telnor fiber optics, Connecta, and Starlink. These options allow residents to maintain reliable connectivity for remote work, streaming, and everyday use.
Propane gas system
Club Marena uses propane gas for forced-air heating, cooking, clothes dryers, and the gas grills located on each oceanfront patio. Unlike many properties in Baja where residents must refill individual propane tanks, Club Marena has a central propane system with a master tank located at the entrance of the community. Gas delivery trucks refill the central tank, and propane is distributed to each residence through underground piping. Residents simply pay their monthly gas bill without the inconvenience of handling propane tanks.
Propane barbeques at the club houses
Both club houses feature propane barbecue areas available for residents and their guests, making them great spaces for outdoor gatherings and social events.
Manicured grounds
The landscaped grounds at Club Marena are maintained by an experienced staff six days a week, keeping the gardens, walkways, and common areas in excellent condition year-round.
