Las Gaviotas has a local surfbreak that is surfable all year round, both summer and winter swells, and is surfable for both longboarding and shortboarding.
There are plenty of nearby restaurants. Also, the lobster village of Puerto Nuevo is nearby.
To get to Las Gaviotas and this home for rent, drive south of Rosarito on the free road for about 15 minutes. You will pass Calafia and the large Jesus statue. The entrance to Las Gaviotas is about 300 yards south of the La Gloria Constructions store, and the Public Storage place.
